Ethel Frances Bounds Glaze
Ethel Frances Bounds Glaze, 79, of Orange Park, Florida entered Heaven on Saturday, March 4, 2023.
 A funeral was held to honor and celebrate her remarkable life on Saturday, March 11 at Newton County Funeral Home in Newton, MS. 
 Frances was born in Newton, Mississippi on December 18, 1943. She graduated from Newton High School and attended East Central Community College. She was head majorette in both high school and college and had a deep love and talent for dance and art as well as for the outdoors and anything to do with the water.
Fran married her high school sweetheart, Horace Glaze, also of Newton, on November 30, 1963. Together they have two daughters, Ginger and Toni. Horace and Frannie provided for and raised their girls in Shreveport, LA, Orlando, FL, and Orange Park, FL. 
 While in Shreveport, LA she worked almost 10 years at Western Electric and after moving to Orange Park, FL she had an almost 20-year career at Anheuser-Busch. She was also an accomplished athlete, running numerous marathons and ultra-marathons while working full-time and raising her daughters.
 She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Harold and Ruth Bounds, her brother Gene Bounds and her sister Joy (Bounds) Ward. 
 She is survived by her husband of almost 50 years, Horace (Gene) Glaze; two daughters and two sons in law, Ginger (Glaze) Amador and Arnoldo, and Toni (Glaze) DeLancey and Doug; and six grandchildren: Jay DeLancey and wife Carinna, Justin Amador and wife Erica, Leah DeLancey, Juliana Amador and husband Joe, Gina DeLancey, and Claire DeLancey; one great grandson, Sebastian Amador, and brother-in-law Jack Ward. Extended family include her precious nephew and nieces, Jack Ward, Jr., Jeannie (Bounds) Abell, Joannie (Bounds) Greene, and Angela (Ward) Doane, and their spouses and children.

Richard Allen Davis, Sr.
Richard Allen Davis, Sr., 76, of Green Cove Springs, Florida, passed away at his home on Saturday, March 11, 2023.
Richard was born on March 4, 1947, in Jacksonville, Florida. He served his country after enlisting in the Army, served the City of Jacksonville as an EMT, Paramedic, and Firefighter for over 32 years, retiring at the rank of Lieutenant and was the Battalion Chief of Training for Clay County Fire and Rescue, retiring after 10 years of service. Richard was a 3rd degree Master Mason, 32nd degree Scottish Rite of Freemasonry and a Shriner for decades. He graduated from Vincennes University in 2004.
He married the love of his life, Annette (Shuman), in 1966. Together, they built a life filled with love and making memories with their family. Richard loved learning, teaching, tinkering with anything broken, and playing games, but he especially loved building remote-controlled airplanes. He was a member of Immanuel Anglican Church.
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Annette; two children, Angela Strausbaugh (Michael) and Richard Jr. (Amy); five grandchildren, Brenden, Parker, Kendal, Avery, and Reece; and his brother, Tom (Faye). He was preceded in death by his parents, George Davis and Abbie Jones-Patterson, and his sister, Francis Riner.
A service will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Immanuel Anglican Church, 915 Orchid Avenue, Keystone Heights, FL 32656, with Bishop Raul Toro, Jr. officiating.
A reception will immediately follow the service. Donations can be made to the Shiners Children’s Hospital @ LoveShriners.org in memory of Richard A. Davis.
