FLEMING ISLAND – A 21-year-old Orange Park man was arrested on July 18 for leaving a child younger than 6 in a running car for more than 15 minutes while he was in a restaurant.
According to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, Joshua Michael Buchak was inside the Tijuana Flats while the child was in the back seat of the unlocked car. They asked him to come outside, and they arrested him after he had identified his car.
Buchak’s bond was set at $5,002. His next court appearance is Aug. 12.
