Mrs. Algertha P. Garner, 92, of
Green Cove Springs, Florida, passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 24,
2023, in Midway Georgia. Mrs. Garner was a native of
Liberty County Georgia. Mrs. Garner moved to Green Cove
Springs, Florida at an early age; where she met and married
Elisha Garner. Mrs. Garner was self-employed as a
seamstress. She was preceded in death by her husband
Elisha Garner, her son James Corbett, sisters Lola Dixon, Martha Gaulden,
Evelyn Perry, Eunice Simpson and Louise Anderson; brothers, Jessie Perry, Troy
Perry and Charles Perry. She leaves to cherish her memories nieces,
nephews and a host of relatives and friends. The visitation will occur
from 12:30 PM until 1:30 p.m. The funeral service is at 1:30 PM at Dorchester
Funeral Home (7842. E. Oglethorpe Hwy Midway, GA 31320). The interment will
follow the service at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery (1061 Macedonia
Rd, Ludowici, GA 31316). Arrangements are entrusted to Dorchester
Funeral Home: 7842 E. Oglethorpe Hwy. Midway Georgia 31320.
