CLAY COUNTY – The collection boxes are everywhere, the need is widespread. That’s why the Clay County Marine Corps League No. 1047 General Roy S. Geiger Detachment has been collecting toys as part of its annual Toys for Tots program.
A year ago, 15,792 toys were distributed to 5,240 children. As long as there is a need, the Marines will be committed to answering every request.
There are two dropoff boxes in Keystone Heights; 33 on Fleming Island; 53 in Orange Park; 10 in Green Cove Springs; 16 in Middleburg; and. six in Oakleaf.
