FLEMING ISLAND – Children from Scream’n Eagles swim team at Eagle Harbor gathered last Tuesday to swim laps and throw whipped cream at each other to support the Clay County Sheriff’s Office’s Dive and Swift Water Rescue Team. Swimmers were sponsored for each lap completed, while others stood in line to hit other children and deputies with plates of whipped cream. Sheriff Michelle Cook joined the festivities by hitting one of her deputies with a whipped cream pie. The goal was to raise $5,000.
