Ralph Dennis Pendzick of Middleburg, FL passed away Saturday, July 27, 2024. Born October 13, 1936, in Manorville, New York. He was a member of St. Luke’s Catholic Church for over 40 years. Ralph was predeceased by his loving wife of 52 years, Geraldine Pendzick in 2011. Survived by their two daughters: Judy Boston and Kathy Sapp (Greg); Grandchildren: Ashley Traurig (Ryan), Blair Sapp (Jackie), Payton Sapp & Marissa Boston; Great-Grandchildren: Olivia & Abigail Traurig He is also survived by his second love and devoted wife of 6 years, Carol Pendzick. Her two daughters: Angela Will (Jon) and Cheryl Robinson (Mike); Grandchildren: Jordan Swilley, Collin & Paisleigh Robinson. Ralph also leaves many loving family members and friends. Ralph retired as an Engineer for the City of Jacksonville Fire Department after 32 years. He also worked a second job as a Mechanic at Vallencourt Paving Company for many years. He served 4 years in the United States Navy out of Lakehurst, NJ. One of his proudest moments was his participation in the 1957 “Operation Plumbbob” Atomic Test in Nevada. Over the years, Ralph enjoyed family and friend gatherings, helping others, traveling, bicycling, boating, fishing & skiing at Lake Lochloosa. In later years he enjoyed watching the variety of birds at his bird feeders and especially the hummingbirds & holding his recliner down. Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at HOLLY HILL FUNERAL HOME, 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, FL on Friday, August 9th. A celebration of his life will be held at 11 am, Saturday, August 10th at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow the service at Holly Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to St Luke’s Catholic Charities 1601 Blanding Blvd Middleburg, FL 32068.
