ORANGE PARK – According to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, two men were charged with armed robbery after entering an extended stay room at Seigel Select on Wells Road and stealing “multiple” weapons, including a shotgun, from a woman.

Kelvin Jomar Malave Torres, 19, of Orange Park, and Naquan Damon Person-Daise, 28, of Jacksonville, were charged with child abuse and armed robbery after CCSO said Person-Daise struck one of the occupants with a closed fist. According to the arrest report, she was treated and released for a bruise on her chest from a local hospital.

Both men are being held without bond.
