ORANGE PARK – The woman and minority family-owned More Than Ink last week relocated its 18-year-old printing, sign and marketing business to a custom-built 10,000-square-foot eco-friendly facility near NAS Jax.

The new location includes several top-of-the-line presses like the AccurioJet KM-1 digital inkjet press.

“The KM-1 is a beast,” said Kimberly Sellers, MTI’s Customer Service Director. The press features a much larger sheet size than a standard digital press and faster printing, up to 6x the speed. This paired with its superior color gamut, allows MTI to create the most stunning and vibrant printing available today. The KM-1 is a true workhorse that will enable MTI to print quickly and efficiently, in turn

passing additional savings directly to their clients. “You have to see it to believe it,” KM-1 Press Operator Scott Griffiths said.

“We’re blessed to have a thriving business in today’s economy, which has enabled us to expand and give back support to the local community,” John Christiansen, said. “Our loyal local and national clients continually turn to us for their printing needs and give us referrals.

Being an eco-friendly print shop has also been a passion of More Than Ink’s owners. They strive to use papers that are part of the sustainable forestry initiative and recycle all materials they can throughout the shop. Employees work hard to enforce one of its main business objectives of leaving the planet better than they found it.

In turn, this minimizes their clients printing carbon footprint as well.

More Than Ink offers digital printing of booklets, catalogs, envelopes, pads, brochures and pocket folders, as well as services for direct and bulk mailing, design services, large format signs, storefronts point-of-sale materials, and trade show items.
