FLEMING ISLAND - With a torrential downpour halting the Oakleaf 9-Unders youth football clash with Grand Park out of Jacksonville with the score tied at 6-6 with four minutes left in the game.
After a 30-minute delay, Oakleaf returned to the field to, first, get a fumble recovery, then watch as fullback Kyree Jones barreled 40 yards to put Oakleaf inside the Grand Park 10-yard line.
From there, two attempts failed for Oakleaf before Jones was given the rock a second time and got the winning score.
Oakleaf returned on defense and got a final fumble to end the game.
