Bond set at $1.145 million in Jacksonville man’s drug charges

ORANGE PARK – Andre Roger Grenier is in the Clay County Jail with a $1,145,276 bond after he was charged with a litany of drug-related charges on Sept. 16.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Plainfield Avenue and a search of the car, a deputy discovered crack cocaine in a “pelican case.”

Earlier in the day, CCSO said it used an undercover informant to purchase a large amount of drugs from the 32-year-old Jacksonville man in an unrelated case.

Grenier is charged with two counts of trafficking methamphetamine, trafficking fentanyl, possession of suboxone, possession of Xanax, possession of marijuana, trafficking of MDMA, possession of crack cocaine and selling methamphetamine.

According to CCSO, The sheriff’s office also conducted a controlled undercover purchase of methamphetamine on Sept. 12.

Grenier’s next court appearance will be on Oct. 15.
