From parades to parties to festive lights, there will be enough holiday cheer to put a smile on the grumpiest of all scrooges. If your organization has a function planned for Christmas, feel free to forward the information to don@claytodayonline.com.

• The annual Parade of Trees and Santa’s Mailbox will be at Spring Park in Green Cove Springs. The mailbox will be available until Dec. 20, or children may send their letters to Santa’s Elf, at 321 Walnut St., while 160 trees decorated by families, organizations and local businesses will be on display until 10 p.m. nightly until Dec. 31.

• Letters to Santa can be left at the mailbox at Keystone Heights City Hall at 555 S. Lawrence Blvd. or at Johnny’s Bar-B-Q and Catering at 7411 State Road 21 in Keystone Heights.

• Green Cove Springs Police Department will be collecting new toys and candy for its Annual Toy and Candy Drive until Dec. 15. Items may be dropped off at the police department at 1001 Idlewild Ave. and at City Hall at 321 Walnut St.

• Santa at the Silos will be from 5-8 p.m. on Dec. 9 at 2221 County Road 220 in Middleburg. The event, which is presented by True Life Church, offers free photos with Santa Claus and the Grinch, carolers, hot cocoa, face painting. children’s Christmas crafts and cookies.

• The free movie, “A Christmas Story” will be shown during Christmas in the Courtyard will be on Dec. 10 from 7-9 p.m. at the Historic Triangle Courtyard at 915 Walnut St. in Green Cove Springs.

• Santa’s Workshop will be on Dec. 10 from 10 a.m.-noon at the Lake Asbury Learning Center at 2781 Henley Road in Green Cove Springs. Children will be treated to a morning of arts, crafts and a visit from Santa Claus.

• Village Oaks will host the second annual Country Christmas from Dec. 9-11 from 5-9 p.m. at 5960 Sweet Moody Road in Green Cove Springs. Entry fees are $5, while children 3 and younger are free. The event will feature local vendors, country cooking and drinks.

• Sniktaw Farms’ Christmas Light Spectacular will be from Dec. 9-11 from 6-9 p.m. at 2579 Russell Road in Green Cove Springs. Costs are $7 for adults, $5 for children and children 3 and younger are free. The program includes bright lights, music, Christmas Village and letters to Santa.

• Orange Park Hometown Holiday will be celebrated on Dec. 9 and 10 from 5-9 p.m. at the Clarke House, 1039 Kingsley Ave. Clarke House Park will be bursting with holiday cheer, with tours of the decorated house, classic holiday movies on the outdoor big screen, live music, shopping in the Christmas village, food vendors, a lighted trail ride and the opportunity to purchase a photo with Santa.

• Pet Photos with Santa Paws will be on Dec. 10 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Pet Supermarket, 835 Blanding Blvd., in Orange Park. There also will be a Christmas basket raffle.

• The Keystone Heights Holiday Extravaganza will be on Dec. 11 from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. downtown at the Theme Park and Keystone Beach. Vendors and food trucks will open at 10 a.m., followed by live music from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. The Kiwanis Christmas Parade will start at 6 p.m. along Lawrence Boulevard, while Christmas cartoons and “Santa Claus: The Movie” will be at Keystone Beach, starting at 7:30 p.m.

• Pentatonix: A Christmas Special will be at the VyStar Memorial Arena, on Dec. 14 at 7 p.m. For tickets, visit ticketmaster.com.

• Orange Park will host its Firetruck Parade with Santa on Dec. 16 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

• Concert on the Green’s Cocoa and Carols will be on Dec. 16 from 5-8 p.m. at River Road and Kingsley Avenue. More than a dozen Clay County schools are scheduled to perform the sounds of the season. You can watch the Firetruck Parade from the event, and free gift wrapping will be available, along with additional entertainment and holiday vendors.

• Trans-Siberian Orchestra will bring their “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve” show to the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena on Dec. 16 at 7:30 p.m. For tickets, visit ticketmaster.com.

• Cirque Música: Holiday Wonderland will be performed on Dec. 16 at the Florida Theater in Jacksonville, 128 Forsyth St. For tickets, visit www.CirqueMusica.com.

• The American Legion Post 250 Children’s Christmas Party will be on Dec. 17 from 1-4 p.m. at 2608 Black Creek Dr. in Middleburg. Photos with Santa will be available, as well as gifts, pizza and drinks.

• The Apopka Drive Night of Lights will be on Dec. 17 at 5 p.m. The street is located off Farm Way behind the Silos Shoppes of Middleburg.

• The 40th annual J.P. Hall Children’s Charities Party will be on Dec. 18 from 9 a.m.-noon at the Clay County Fairgrounds, Children 14 and younger will receive a bag of toys in the drive-thru event at the Cattleman’s Arena. Children must be in the car to receive toys. There is no registration or sign-up for the event.
