No matter what the enemy of our life has done, no matter how we’ve messed up, it’s not too late. It’s NEVER too late! Jesus was sacrificed on the cross for all the sins of humanity for all of time. That means His sacrifice covers you today.
God started over with Noah. He saw that there was no righteousness left in the world outside of Noah and wiped it all clean. God then made a covenant with man to never destroy the earth by flood. Genesis 9:17 says, “Then God said to Noah, “Yes, this rainbow is the sign of the covenant I am confirming with all the creatures on earth.”
He has made the same promise to us. God is fully committed to seeing things through with us, no matter how far we stray. It doesn’t matter what you’ve done, you’re NEVER out of God’s grasp. All you need do is turn your eyes and heart back toward Him in repentance and you will receive the grace of Jesus that brings us salvation.
At times the enemy may come at us like a flood. Isaiah 59:19 says, “In the west, people will respect the name of the LORD; in the east, they will glorify Him. For he [the enemy] will come like a raging flood tide driven [back] by the breath of the Lord.”
The brothers of Joseph asked for forgiveness after selling him into slavery and realizing he was now in a powerful position in Egypt. Joseph responded with this in Genesis 50:20, “You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.”
This promise holds true today! God will never leave us to fend for ourselves against the onslaught of the enemy. He fights by our side always, and He is mightier than anything we will ever face.
God’s grace is available to you 24/7, 365. Start over and follow Jesus today!
