Driver seen swerving, crossing white line jailed for trafficking fentanyl
KEYSTONE HEIGHTS – A man who admitted to swerving and crossing over the white line while driving on State Road 100 wound up being arrested on Nov. 14 for several drug charges.
Kevin Warren Webb, 55, of Lawtey, was eventually charged with trafficking 5.1 grams of fentanyl, 21 alprazolam pills, two clonazepam pills, and possessing methamphetamine, crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia, as well as driving with a suspended license after the Clay County Sheriff’s Office had the car towed because Webb didn’t have a license. Before the car was taken away, CCSO completed an inventory, and they found the narcotics in a coffee cup in the back seat.
Webb’s bond was set at $310,020. He is due back in court on Dec. 18.
