Due to a reporting error, Clay Today incorrectly identified Ashton Scott Huffman as being charged with second-degree murder. He was charged with attempted second-degree murder, as well as firing a gun into a dwelling and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after firing into a home. Nobody was injured in that shooting. The information conflicted with another shooting in Orange Park at a different apartment complex where a man was shot to death. That investigation is ongoing. Clay Today regrets the error.
