Six former students make Georgia Southern’s Dean’s List

STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern University recently recognized approximately 3,550 students for academic excellence on the Fall Dean’s List. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, a student must have at least a 3.5 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester.

Krystyn Wright and Kamryn Valentine, both of Middleburg, Ellie Godshall of Orange Park, Tyge Larry of Oakleaf, Morgan Kendrick of Fleming Island and Garrett Curtin of Middleburg all qualified.

Georgia Southern University, a public Carnegie Doctoral/R2 institution founded in 1906, offers approximately 155 different degree programs serving more than 26,100 students through 10 colleges on three campuses.

Middleburg’s Logan Myers on Grove City Dean’s List

GROVE CITY, Pa. – Logan Myers, a Biochemistry major at Grove City College from Middleburg, has been selected to the Dean’s List for the Fall semester.

Students eligible for the Dean’s List have a GPA of 3.40 to 3.59; for the Dean’s List with Distinction, a GPA of 3.60 to 3.84; and for the Dean’s List with High Distinction, a GPA of 3.85 to 4.0.

Three from Orange Park on College of Charleston’s President’s List

CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston congratulates more than 3,500 students who earned a spot on the President’s List.

Noah Daniels, Alexis Drumm and Josephine Dinkins, all of Orange Park, finished on the President’s List.

To qualify for the President’s List, students must earn a GPA of 3.800 or higher and complete a minimum of 12 semester hours.

Four from Clay earn degrees from Maryland Global Campus

ADELPHI, Md. – The University of Maryland Global Campus graduated more than 8,358 students worldwide after the fall semester. Students from all 50 states, three U.S. territories and 24 countries earned UMGC degrees.

Gerado Registre of Middleburg earned a Master of Science degree in marketing, while Atiana Najah Payne of Oakleaf graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice, Sze Wah Yee of Middleburg got a Master of Science degree in information technology: homeland security and Amanda Lynn Sallete of Orange Park earned her Master of Science degree in cybersecurity management and

Hall, Trammell make Dean’s List at Samford University

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Samford University recognized 2,122 students on the Dean’s List for the fall semester, including Kinley Hall of Green Cove Springs and Rita Tammell of Oakleaf.

To qualify for the Dean’s list, a student must have earned a minimum 3.5 grade point average out of a possible 4.0 while attempting at least 12 credit hours of coursework. The Dean’s List is the highest academic recognition given by the school at the end of each semester.

Harding earns place on Harding University’s Dean’s List

SEARCY, Ark. – Green Cove Springs’ Mikayla Maynard, a Senior studying Nursing, is among more than 1,300 Harding University students included on the Dean’s list for grades achieved during the Fall semester.

The Dean’s list is published each semester by Dr. Marty Spears, University provost, honoring those who have achieved exemplary grades. To be eligible, a student must be carrying 12 or more hours with a 3.65 or higher grade-point average and no incompletes.

Harding University is a private Christian, liberal arts university.

Trio qualifies for Dean’s List at Valdosta State University

VALDOSTA, Ga. – Valdosta State University is excited to recognize nearly 1,800 distinguished and accomplished students who exemplified excellence in attaining their educational goals and earned a spot on the Fall Dean’s List.

Dean’s List honors are reserved for the highest-achieving students at VSU, including Julia Higdon of Orange Park, Kaitlynn Waddell of Green Cove Springs and Saniah Lewis of Middleburg.

To qualify for the Dean’s List at VSU, students must achieve a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on nine or more semester hours with an institutional grade point average of 3.00 or higher.

Marley Hand on Dean’s List at Ole Miss

UNIVERSITY, Miss. – Marley Hand of Orange Park earned a spot on the University of Mississippi’s Fall Honor Roll lists.

Hand, majoring in Allied Health Studies, made the Dean’s Honor Roll, which is reserved for students earning a semester GPA of 3.50-3.74.

To be eligible for honor roll designation, a student must have completed at least 12 graded hours for the semester and may not be on academic probation during the semester.

The University of Mississippi, affectionately known as Ole Miss, is the state’s flagship university.

Orange Park’s Iller achieves academic recognition at The Citadel

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Orange Park’s William Iller was among the more than 1,300 cadets and students recognized for their academic achievements during the fall semester.

The Dean’s list is a recognition given to cadets and students who are registered for 12 or more semester hours and whose grade point average is 3.20 or higher, with no grade of I (Incomplete) and no grade below C for work in a semester.

Cadets on the Dean’s list receive a medal worn on their uniform during the semester following their academic achievement. Non-cadet students on the Dean’s list get a certificate.

Gonzaga recognizes Stratton for making Dean’s List

SPOKANE, Wash. – Burke Stratton of Fleming Island earned a place on the Gonzaga University Dean’s List for the fall semester. Students must earn a 3.5 to 3.84 grade-point average to be listed.

Burnsed on Dean’s List at Palmer College

DAVENPORT, Iowa – Alan Burnsed of Orange Park made the fall Dean’s List at Palmer College of Chiropractic’s Florida Campus in Port Orange.

Palmer College of Chiropractic, the first and largest college in the chiropractic profession, has campuses in Davenport, Iowa; San Jose, California; and Port Orange.

Hudson, Hodges roll to place on Alabama academic’s lists

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – A total of 13,950 students enrolled during Fall Semester at The University of Alabama made the President’s and Dean’s lists.

Lilly Hudspon of Fleming Island was on the President’s List with a grade point average of 4.0.

Chloe Hodges, also from Fleming Island, made the Dean’s List with at least a 3.5 grade point average.
