Orange Park’s Hand, Bielik graduate from Ole Miss
UNIVERSITY, Miss. – More than 3,100 students graduated from the University of Mississippi, including Marley Hand, who majored in Allied Health Studies, and Liam Bielik, who majored in Finance and Real Estate. Both are from Orange Park.
“Our May graduates are distinguished by incredible achievements, character, and resilience,” Chancellor Glenn Boyce said. “They accomplished so much during their years at Ole Miss, and we can’t wait to see all the ways they will pursue their passions and reach their full potential on their paths to a bright future.”
Keystone’s Acevedo earns degree from Mississippi State
MISSISSIPPI STATE – Emily Acevedo of Keystone Heights was among nearly 3,500 students graduating from Mississippi State University to graduate. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from MSU’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
Mississippi State University is a national STEM-focused, doctoral degree-granting, land-grant university offering a wide range of educational experiences for learning and growth to a diverse student body of approximately 23,000 students.
Clark, Powell graduate from Valdosta State University
VALDOSTA, Ga. – Valdosta State University is proud to announce the members of its Spring graduating class of Spring, including, Hannah Clark of Orange Park, who earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Kailey Powell of Oakleaf, who earned the Master of Education degree in Elementary Education.

Marmolejo on Mississippi State’s President’s list
MISSISSIPPI STATE – Mariah Marmolejo of Middleburg made the Mississippi State University’s Spring President’s List.
Marmolejo is among 4,137 students who have attained this honor. Students on the President’s List achieved a 3.80 or better grade-point average, based on a 4.0 scale, while completing at least 12 semester hours of coursework with no incomplete grades or grades lower than a C.
Fleming Island’s Sweeney on W. Carolina’s Chancellor’s list
CULLOWHEE, N.C. – Margaret Sweeney of Fleming Island earned her place on the Chancellor’s List at Western Carolina University.
Sweeney was among more than 1,400 students who had achieved this honor. To qualify for the Chancellor’s List, students must earn a GPA of 3.8 or higher while completing a minimum of 12 credit hours.

Mangalindan makes Dean’s list at Wisconsin-Milwaukee
MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Fleming Island’s Patrick Mangalindan earned a spot on the Spring semester’s Dean’s List at the University of Milwaukee-Wisconsin.
UWM is the second-largest university in Wisconsin, with more than 22,900 students.
DeVilling, Kreger inducted into Phi Kappa Phi
BATON ROUGE, La. – Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines, inducted Martha DeVilling of Oakleaf and Nova Southeastern University and Zachary Kyle Kreger of Middleburg at Florida Institute of Technology into their chapter.
They are among approximately 25,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni initiated into Phi Kappa Phi each year. Membership is by invitation only and requires nomination and approval by a chapter.
