MIDDLEBURG – A confidential informant working with the Clay County Sheriff’s Office helped the agency make a significant drug bust on Thanksgiving Day.
Daniel Ray Stamer, 18, of Middleburg, was charged with three counts of trafficking LSD, trafficking hydrocodone, and two counts of selling methamphetamine and one count each of selling Xanax, hydrocodone and fentanyl.
According to the affidavit for an arrest warrant, the informant bought an assortment of drugs on Aug. 22 and 23, Sept. 12 at Stamer’s home on Treeland Avenue. According to Florida law, trafficking is when someone has at least one gram of LSD and 14 grams of hydrocodone.
Stamer is due back in court on Dec. 11. His bond was set at $690,027.
