The Learning Wheel opens in Keystone Heights

KEYSTONE HEIGHTS – Clay County Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of The Learning Wheel.

“The Ribbon cutting was instrumental in building the Learning Wheel,” said owner Jennifer Ford. “We received a lot of exposure primarily from the Clay Chamber.”

At the opening, local businesses, friends and family showed their support. The cutting also offered food and a chance for small local businesses to network with each other.

On a personal level, the ribbon cutting allowed Ford the opportunity to give back to the community.

“It’s allowed me an opportunity to make an impact in Keystone, which has been an experience that has brought me great joy,” Ford said.

In addition, it has allowed her to make new friends and work alongside her eldest daughter, Allison, to create new events and programs. Lastly, the cutting showed the local support the center received from the community.

As of now the center continues to grow. The Tea Room at the learning center is offering a new type of tea for children called Alice in Wonderland. Classes like painting, tot time, safety class on reptiles, and yoga are also being offered at the center.

“Folks are coming from all over to see what the Learning Wheel has to offer and enjoy the high tea,” Ford said.

Overall, the Learning Wheel would not have been successful without the support the center receives from its community. Jenifer is appreciative of the support she has received from Clay Chamber, Lake Region Prosperity Partners, Capital City Bank and local small businesses.
