The Board of County Commissioners of Clay County, Florida, will hold a public hearing Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as can be heard, in the Board of County Commissioners Meeting Room on the Fourth Floor of the Clay County Administration Building, 477 Houston Street, Green Cove Springs, Florida, to consider the adoption of a resolution bearing the following title:
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF CLAY COUNTY, FLORIDA CERTIFYING THAT THE PROPOSED RENOVATIONS TO THE CLAY COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS AN AGRICULTURE EDUCATION AND PROMOTION FACILITY SERVES A PUBLIC PURPOSE PURSUANT TO SECTION 288.1175, FLORIDA STATUTES AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
All interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing and be heard by the Board on matters pertaining to the resolution. Pursuant to Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, a person deciding to appeal any decision made by the Board with respect to any matter considered at the hearing or at any subsequent hearing to which the Board has continued its deliberations is advised that such person will need a record of all proceedings and may need to ensure that a verbatim record of all proceedings is made, which must include the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. A copy of the proposed resolution may be inspected by members of the public at the Clay County Grants Management Department Office, located at 420 College Dr., Suite 107, Middleburg, Florida, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with the exception of legal holidays.
