In loving memory of Jack “Craig” Brooker, 71, of Green Cove Springs, who passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2024. He was born to Jack and Ida Mae Brooker on December 19th, 1952 in Orange Park, Florida.

Craig played football and graduated from Clay County High School. In his younger years, he loved to surf and ride dirt bikes, when he was not busy helping his father in the pulpwood business. Most of his adult years were spent running and working within the trucking business. Craig played softball for Hickory Grove. He enjoyed watching NASCAR racing, college football and professional baseball. He loved the Florida Gators and Atlanta Braves.

Anyone close to Craig knew his passion for history. He reveled in his family's ancestry along with world history- but his love for biblical history surpassed all. He used his in-depth knowledge and understanding to teach and spread the word of God. He taught Sunday school for many years at Hickory Grove Baptist church.

Craig leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity, and integrity that will forever inspire us. He was a beacon of kindness and thoughtfulness, touching the lives of all who knew him. His warmth and compassion were boundless, making him a pillar of strength and wisdom in our lives.
