Liberty County in the Panhandle still practices prohibition, which means alcohol is not allowed to be served or sold at any time. In Lafayette County, beer is only allowed to be sold in retail locations and in neighboring Baker County, no alcohol is allowed to be sold or served on Sundays … While most know Jacksonville is the largest city by landmass in the contiguous U.S. (840 square miles), did you know it also has the largest population? That’s right. It has 985,843, which makes it the 10th largest city in the country. Before you grab your cellphone and check Google, the reason is simple. Cities like Miami, Orlando and Tampa are comprised of many cities. The City of Miami only has 449,514, but there are 18 other cities and communities in Dade County, like Miami Gardens, Biscayne Park, Miami Shores, North Miami Beach, Doral, Miami Springs and Hialeah. Added together, Miami-Dade has 2.674 million people, but the City of Miami only makes up 16.8% of it.
