• Students paint rocks at the Green Cove Springs Library to be placed at county parks and public areas as part of the Kindness Rocks program
• The 4-by-50 boys relay team of Jacob Thompson, Jack Neeley, Andrew Heinton and Nick Hackett combined to win the Class 4A state swimming championship for the third consecutive year to be selected as the county’s sports story of the year.

• Clay County Commissioner Doug Conkey is hired as the new president of the Clay County Chamber of Commerce.
• Green Cove Springs Mayor Pam Lewis asks U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson’s office to designate the St. Johns River a marine highway to bolster tourism.
• A financial literacy program offered by Junior Achievement will be expanded into Clay County schools.

• Pranksters put up clerk of court campaign signs for Talmadge Bennett although he doesn’t plan on running for job.
• Tom and Pat Welch win the Yard of the Month award by the Heritage Hills Community Association.
