JACKSONVILLE - With a field dominated with Southeastern Conference powers LSU, Kentucky, Alabama and Florida, the NCAA East Region Track and Field Championships offered up the best of best of collegiate track with athletes battling to grab a qualifying time, distance or jump to advance to the NCAA Track and Field Championships to be held June 8-11 at Hayward Field on the University of Oregon campus in Eugene.
Athletes had to finish in top three to automatically advance with the final two spots determined by time from two semifinal heats.
