With the sign perfected outside the building, it's now official: Einstein Bros. Bagels is coming to Fleming Island.
The bagel cafe chain, located at 1581 County Road 220, is replacing what was the premium frozen yogurt spot Sweet Frog. The yogurt shop permanently closed back in March.
Einstein Bros. Bagels is a Colorado-based franchise, founded back in 1995 by the Boston Market restaurant chain. It is now owned by Panera Brands.
The cafe is known for its selection of over 20 flavors of freshly-baked bagels, shmears, breakfast sandwiches and coffee favorites.
As of now, there is no set opening date for the cafe.
