Moody, Mawhinney win golf districts

Fleming Island freshman golfer Sophia Moody continued her precision golf with a district title last week at the Palatka Golf Course. Moody and the Fleming Island girls team lost to Middleburg in a tiebreaker playoff hole with both teams advancing to regions at Quail Heights in Lake City.

Fleming Island senior Sebastian Cruz exalts after scoring a tying touchdown with just 18 seconds on the clock in a thrilling 26-25 win over Flagler Palm Coast.
