In addition to volunteering your time, remember that food banks are also open to donations, including food items. Currently, the Salvation Army is hosting its Advent Calendar Food Drive, where, through Dec. 6, members of the community can donate select items to benefit the pantry. At the Food Pantry of Green Cove Springs, you can also donate groceries via delivery services, such as Amazon Fresh, Walmart, Kroger Delivery, Instacart and Costco.
