At the March Regular School Board Meeting, the District recognized some outstanding students and educators who truly embody what it means to be One Team. One Goal. One Clay. Tyler Davies from Orange Park High and Jaime Russell from Middleburg High were selected as the youth volunteers of the year, while David Everington from Doctors Inlet Elementary was selected as the senior volunteer of the year. Last month, Doctors Inlet Elementary's Philip Turturro was selected as the School-Related Employee of the Year, while Wilkinson Junior High's Robin Campbell won Teacher of the Year. School Board member Mary Bolla also was honored by the Clay Education Foundation for her tireless work for the nonprofit.
