GREEN COVE SPRINGS – Starting at 1 p.m., Spring Park will be rockin’ for a reason on June 1 as the community comes together to support the Rock the Park for Monica initiative.
The festival will raise money and awareness for the wife of a Green Cove Springs Police officer who was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer. Some community members have created this event to help support them through this fight. In addition to a presentation from Signal 35, a private group that assists first responders in times of need, there will be food trucks, auctions, local art and live music from Brennan Brady and Jake Calhoun, Keith Godwin and the Rio Grande Band, Doc Moccasin and the Duval County Line with Curt Towne.
