General Statement of Work: Licensed asphalt contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, bonding and insurance, and permits (if needed) for the following:
Repave approximately 276,517 square feet that makes up the Support Area A Marshaling area. Mill the two areas at opposite ends of the area, totaling of approximately 8,334 square yards, to remove deficient areas. The products of milling operations will remain on-site at Camp Blanding at a location to be designated. Apply an FDOT approved tack product by heated distributor truck at rate of 0.10 gallons per square yard. This area shall receive a leveling course of approximately 687.55 tons of hot mix asphalt placed by spreader and compacted prior to further work. Finish paving by placing approximately 2,534.74 tons of SP-12.5 hot mix asphalt over the combined 18,368 square feet of driveways and 258,149 square feet of marshaling and maintenance area. This material shall be placed with a powered asphalt spreader and compacted to a thickness of 1 ½” at satisfactory density. Contractor to ensure applicable testing and monitoring samples are obtained utilizing a vendor of their choice.
