ORANGE PARK – Hundreds challenged their taste buds on Saturday, Nov. 12, at the annual Moosehaven Chili Cookoff to benefit Clay Habitat for Humanity. Not only were guests allowed to sample as many bowls of chili as their taste buds could stand the heat, there was a car
show by the Clay County Cruzers, live music, food trucks and children’s games. The team
representing the Virginia Moose Lodge won first place in the Blind Judging Division, while Ohio was second and Georgia was third. Individually, Autumn Doughton (red and Verde) and Jan Sprouse (salsa) also won blue ribbons.
