MIDDLEBURG – A woman stopped for driving 78 mph on the First Coast Expressway wound up in jail on several drug charges.

Tonya Yvonne Day, 41, of Orange Park, was charged with trafficking methamphetamine and fentanyl and possession of cocaine, molly or ecstasy and oxycodone on Jan. 4 after a Clay County Sheriff’s deputy uncovered the drugs in her purse and in a sanitizer container in the passenger seat. Her bond is $420,015. Her next court appearance is Feb. 5.
