ORANGE PARK – St. Johns River State College will present “FASFA Frenzy” at its Orange Park campus on Oct. 17. The event will provide information to families interested in applying for college financial aid.
Fall Frenzy will provide qualified students with the information necessary to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, which is the first and most important step in applying for financial aid. To apply for federal student aid, such as federal grants, work-study and loans, students are required to complete the FAFSA form.
Potential students can base their financial information on the previous year’s tax return. Those intending to enroll in college during the 2024-25 academic year are encouraged to complete the form when available in December.
The event will be in the D Building from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.. The final session will start at 7:30 p.m.
Filling out the FAFSA doesn’t obligate students to a particular career track or college.
