Public Notice of Significant Non-Compliance of an Industrial User Clay County Utility Authority (CCUA) Environmental Compliance Department Clay County Florida

The following Industrial User was found to be in Significant Non-Compliance (SNC) of State and local Industrial Pretreatment requirements for the 2023 reporting period (December 14, 2023). This violation was due to an accidental discharge of an unknown amount of a nutritional supplement product that imparted color to the process waters of CCUA’s Miller Street Wastewater Treatment Facility. Public notice of this violation of County/State environmental regulations, and the user’s wastewater discharge permit is required by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Chapter 62-625.500(2)(b)(8) F.A.C.
