The City of Green Cove Springs proposes to adopt the following Ordinances:
ORDINANCE NO. O-04-2024
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF GREEN COVE SPRINGS, FLORIDA REZONING ±0.74 ACRES OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT SOUTHWEST CORNER OF US HIGHWAY 17 AND HARBOR RD, IDENTIFIED AS TAX ID NUMBER 015722-002-01, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY EXHIBIT “A”, FROM UNZONED, TO C-2, GENERAL COMMERCIAL; PROVIDING FOR REPEALER, SEVERABILITY AND SETTING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
The following public hearing has been scheduled and will be held in the City Council Chambers, 321 Walnut Street, Green Cove Springs, to hear comments, if any, regarding said Ordinances:
Planning & Zoning Board: Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. or shortly thereafter
City Council: Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. or shortly thereafter
City Council: Tuesday, March 19 2024 at 7:00 p.m. or shortly thereafter
Please be advised that if a person decides to appeal any decision made by the City Council with respect to any matter considered at this scheduled public hearing, they will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, any person needing a special accommodation to participate in this matter should contact City Hall at (904) 297-7500 at least three (3) days prior to the meeting. Hearing impaired persons may access through Florida Relay – Dial 7-1-1.
Said Ordinances are available at City Hall for review during the hours of 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday.
