NOTICE OF IMPOSITION OF ADJUSTED COMPREHENSIVE IMPACT FEES

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that as required by Clay County Ordinance No. 2022-56, the Clay County Comprehensive Impact Fee Ordinance, the Impact Fees assessed thereunder, per Section 16.225 beginning October 1, 2023, and each year thereafter, shall automatically be adjusted by the percent change indicated by the latest available release of the Annual Average Construction Cost Index as published by the Engineering News-Record. A copy of the adjusted Impact Fees to be effective October 1, 2024, and to be incorporated as part of Attachment A to the Clay County Comprehensive Impact Fee Ordinance, is available for review by the public at the Clay County Planning and Zoning Division, Third Floor of the Administration Building, 477 Houston Street, Green Cove Springs, Florida, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays.
The Impact Fees are imposed upon all Capital Facilities Impact Construction occurring within the unincorporated and incorporated areas of the County, as set forth in the Ordinance and in accordance with Interlocals with the Municipalities, and shall be collected prior to Electrical Power Clearance for said construction. The rate adjustment will commence on October 1, 2024.
