NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION CLOSING A ROAD

The Board of County Commissioners (the Board) of Clay County, Florida, has received a petition (the Petition) filed pursuant to Sections 336.09 and 336.10, Florida Statutes, on behalf of Reggie Tumlin, to close a portion of a certain public roadway hereinafter described. In accordance with the Petition, the Board held a public hearing on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, and thereafter adopted a resolution pursuant to Section 336.10, Florida Statutes, closing, vacating and abandoning said portion of the public road, said portion being more particularly described as follows:
That portion of Melrose Road located in the West ½ of Section 7, Township 9 South, Range 23 East lying easterly of the Easterly right-of-way lane of State Road 21 in the Westerly ½ of Section 6, Township 9 South, Range 23 East and in the West 8 acres of the NW ¼ of the SE ¼ of Section 6, Township 9 South, Range 23 East, Clay County Florida. Said prescriptive right of way lying solely within the parcels having tax parcels numbers 06-09-23-005454-000-00 and 07-09-23-005456-000-00, Clay County, Florida.
