MotoSurf Games to hit Keystone Beach this weekend

KEYSTONE HEIGHTS – After a successful debut on Lake Geneva a year ago, MotoSurf Games will return for three days of racing at Keystone Beach.

The Continental Cup season opener for the international organization will hit the beach on Friday, April 21, and wrap up on Sunday afternoon.

The three-day event was made possible by the collaboration between the City of Keystone Heights, Clay County Tourist Development Council and Airstream Ventures. The event is free for spectators.

The racing weekend will offer racing action of men, women, and youth athletes. After the last year’s success, electric-powered motorized surfboards will measure performances in the Electric Challenge relay race. More competition, simplified racing format, friendly atmosphere, and unique experience with CBS Sports TV coverage in a 30-minute documentary.

Visitors will have a unique opportunity to see a slalom race of Motorized Skateboards that will be available also for public test rides on a closed course.

Fuel-powered motorized surfboards are ultra-lightweight high-tech water machines that can be transported by car, boat and airplane as personal luggage on international and domestic carrier flights. That allows all MotoSurf racers to travel easily around the world together with their machine – a unique attribute compared to other motorized vehicles and motorized sports. That makes MotoSurfing the cheapest, most economical and environmentally advanced and friendly motorsport in the world today.

Established in 2013, MotoSurf Racing is a new and fast-growing sport. MotoSurf racing is well known in Europe mostly for the MotoSurf World Cup and MotoSurf Continental Cup Europe, where we can see more than 100 racers worldwide competing in five Categories – Open, Stock, Challenger, Women and Juniors.

MotoSurf racing came to the United States as a new format called MotoSurf Games. The purpose of the Games is to combine thrilling racing action and lots of fun. The concept of MotoSurf Games is not based only on classic racing, but it’s become the combination of classic racing, Electric Challenge relay-race with full electric motorized surfboards, JetSurf TUBE Fun Race and America’s first MotoSkate race.

That combination provides a great weekend full of adrenaline, fun and lots of new experiences.
