ORANGE PARK – A 21-year-old man with a learner’s permit was arrested after he hit several curbs and collided with a car at the corner of Camp Francis Johnson Road and Blanding Boulevard, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Richardlin Junior Content, of Orange Park, was charged with failing to stop to render assistance following a crash with injuries, reckless driving and violating learner’s permit conditions after a man spotted Content’s car driving erratically in Jacksonville. The man followed Content’s car into Clay County, where he notified CCSO. A deputy saw Content strike another car before turning right off Blanding and onto Camp Francis Johnson Road at a high rate of speed. The driver of the other car was transported to HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital with head and shoulder injuries.
Content’s heavily damaged car finally broke down 600 yards after turning.
His bond was set at $15,005.
