KEYSTONE HEIGHTS – Members from the Magnolia Point Women’s Club enjoyed afternoon tea at the Tea Room of Keystone Heights on Sept. 27.

In addition to a three-tier tray of finger sandwiches, fruits and dessert, members were able to choose from more than 40 teas the Tea Room carries.

Jennifer Ford, the owner and hostess, welcomed the members. She also answered questions and provided further information about the Tea Room, all while serving treats and tea. One highlight was that members were able to choose from various hats that were placed throughout the room, and there were lots of laughs as they modeled several before selecting the one they liked best.

The Women’s Club organized the event after reading about the Tea Room in a recent Clay Today article, as well as through their Facebook page. The Tea Room and gift shop, located at 7433 State Road 21, has been open since October 2021 and recently held its ribbon-cutting ceremony in June.

The Tea Room is part of the Learning Center, an enrichment center and a party venue offers painting classes, tot time and yoga classes. The facility is also available for baby and wedding showers, birthday parties and children’s tea parties.
