Legacy Home Health Care expands to new location

KEYSTONE HEIGHTS – Chris and Betsey Murphy recently expanded their business, Legacy Home Health Care, by relocating to a new location at 445 S. Lawrence Blvd. in Keystone Heights.

Their new facility provides the additional space for the agency to work together and to perform the collaborative work for their patients.

“The building we were in was pretty small. We’re thankful to have the space to grow and add new employees and hopefully help more people in the community as well,” said the Murphy’s daughter, Lindsey.

The new building not only provides additional space for the agency, but it also reflects its growth and future.

Since 2017, Legacy Home Health Care has provided their patients with excellent home care. Nursing, therapy whether it be physical or occupational, and custom care are some of the services the agency provides to help their patients recover and prevent hospitalization. In addition, they provide helpful resources to other service providers like local physicians. As of now, the agency is experiencing continuous growth as new connections and relationships are being formed with communities and physicians.

“You know, we don’t have an emergency room; we don’t have a hospital that is super close to us,” said Heather Davis, Legacy’s Clinical Liaison. “So having a big healthcare system like this in the community is a step in the right direction for providing health care for the Keystone Heights and surrounding area.”

Legacy covers areas from Central Florida to North Florida with the focus of rural communities.

Overall, the agency is proud of the growth it has been experiencing and the lives they have impacted.

“We don’t plan to stop any time soon,” Chris Murphy said. “If you or someone you know could benefit from the skilled home health services that Legacy provides. Please contact the Legacy office.”
