KEYSTONE HEIGHTS – Former and current Lake Region Kiwanis Club members met recently for the 35th-anniversary celebration, and former Lt. Gov. Laura Dean and former Mayor Tony Brown attended.
Other notable guests included former members Jude Sorano, Betty Hodges, Rebecca Farmer and Betty Hodges and current Square Dance Caller Bill Chesnut.
There was an icebreaker game based on the question: "What unusual job (volunteer or otherwise) have you done that people may be surprised to learn about you?
There was a musical game – of sorts – where Tina Bullock – played the first few bars on a kazoo, and we had to write down the names of the songs, including, “America the Beautiful,” “Yankee Doodle Dandy,” “Take Me Out to the Ballgame,” “Country Roads, Take Me Home” and “This Land is My Land.”
