DAYTONA BEACH – Most race fans visited the Daytona International Speedway on Friday, Feb. 17, to watch the Craftsman Truck Series opener. But a large contingent went to the World Center of Racing to hear the Keystone Heights High chorus sing during pre-race ceremonies, followed by the band playing the Star Spangled Banner – all while the school’s JROTC presented colors. The JROTC returned the next day to present colors ahead of the Xfinity Series race. The school has been invited back to NASCAR’s most prominent racing weekend for several years.
