The Florida Striders running club out of Orange Park awarded scholarships to six area cross country and track runners with Fleming Island runners John Keester IV, far left, Allison Knotts, fourth from left; and Graham Myers, second from right, among the six. Also receiving the $1,000 scholarships were Richard Circelli, far right, of Ponte Vedra High School; Davis Johnson, third from left, from Bishop Kenny High School, and Isabella Hutchins of Bishop Kenny who was awarded additional money as winner of the Danny Weaver Scholarship ($1,600).
