Clay Today will test your knowledge weekly and provide interesting facts on various topics. This week, somebody needs to buy a map. Seeing the car at the stop light with a sticker from Nissan of Orange Park was strange, especially since there is no Nissan dealership in Orange Park. There’s one in Jacksonville, 1.5 miles east of town in Duval County. For that matter, dealerships with Orange Park in their names like Auto Mall, AutoNation Ford, Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz, Mazda City, Volkswagen, Tom Bush BMW, Genesis, Kia, Acura, Infiniti, Lexus, Subaru and DARCARS aren’t in Clay County, must less Orange Park. But they aren’t alone. The Cincinnati airport isn’t even in Ohio. It’s in Kentucky. The Atlanta Motor Speedway is nearly 28 miles from downtown Atlanta. The Charlotte track is 17 miles away in Concord, North Carolina, and the New York Giants and New York Jets football teams play across the Hudson River in New Jersey.
