GREEN COVE SPRINGS – Clay County Clerk of Court and Comptroller Tara S. Green’s office received a Top Workplaces of 2024 award this week, an annual recognition considered the gold standard of employer recognition in our region. Top Workplace awards recognize local employers who go above and beyond to create an outstanding workplace culture.
Green shared the news with her office’s 100 clerks on Tuesday.
Through Energage, a national company that translates employee feedback into actionable intelligence, nominations are received, and then Energage staff conducts confidential surveys of employees to determine award winners. They follow up with participant management to provide detailed insights into data that helps leaders.
There were 43 organizations in the region were nominated this year, resulting in 4,954 employee surveys. The survey is based on anonymously submitted employee feedback centered around employee engagement. Of those companies, 29 qualified to move beyond the survey phase and 23 scored high enough for awards, including the Clay County Clerk of Court and Comptroller’s Office, which ranked 11th. The recognition is considered a major achievement for this local government office that strives, with a businesslike approach, to be trustworthy, efficient, accountable and helpful.
“I hear about it from my constituents, customers, attorneys, judges, and even from other clerks of court,” Clerk of Court Green said. “That means our employees are genuinely dedicated and remain committed to always providing top-notch customer service, no matter the circumstances.”
