Clay County schools to serve free summer lunches at 11 locations

CLAY COUNTY – The county’s school district will again feed children during the summer break at 11 locations.

The Summer Food Service Program will be available to children 18 and younger, Monday through Friday, for cold breakfast and hot lunch pickup at McRae Elementary, 6670 County Road 315C in Keystone Heights, and Wilkinson Elementary, 4965 County Road 218 in Middleburg from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

On-site meals will be served from 8:30-9 a.m. for breakfast and 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. for lunch at Charles E. Bennett Elementary, 1 S. Oakridge Ave. in Green Cove Springs, Keystone Heights Elementary, 335 S.W. Pecan St., Ridgeview Elementary, 421 Jefferson Ave. in Orange Park, Montclair Elementary, 2398 Moody Ave. in Orange Park, Plantation Oaks Elementary, 4150 Plantation Oaks Blvd. in Oakleaf, Swimming Pen Creek Elementary, 1630 Woodpecker Lane in Middleburg and S. Bryan Jennings Elementary, 215 Corona Dr. in Orange Park.

The Filling Station Food Truck will deliver lunches between June 10 through July 15 from noon to 1 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays at the Middleburg Clay Hill Library, 2245 Aster Ave. in Middleburg and on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Orange Park Library, 2054 Plainfield Ave.

Meals will not be served on July 4-5 in observance of Independence Day.

No pre-registration or application is required.
