“We are honored to be named a 2022 Top-Rated Nonprofit,” Nancy Keating, CEO of Challenge Enterprises of North Florida, said in a press release. “We are proud of our accomplishments this year, including celebrating 50 years of service and employing over 250 individuals with different abilities.”

Challenge Enterprises’ mission is to promote the power of people and possibilities for individuals living with disabilities. They also provide recreational activities such as bowling, cycling and karaoke for individuals to enjoy during their free time. Through their efforts, the organization has been able to promote the power of employment and greater independence to people with different abilities for 50 years.

“Challenge has been serving my brother for many years in an exceptional way. They have adapted well to the changes in his life over the years. I feel so lucky to have them support me in caring for my brother. I am also a professional in the field and I can’t say enough good things about Challenge Enterprises,” GreatNonprofits’ Sherma K. wrote in her review.

In the past, the organization has also been honored with the 2005 Governor’s Point of Light and the 2006 Presidential Point of Light awards.
