MIDDLEBURG – A 35-year-old man was arrested after the Clay County Sheriff’s Office said he intentionally had sex with someone without notifying them he was infected with the HIV virus.

Andre Aziz Shirley, of Middleburg, was charged on June 7 with not informing his partner he had HIV after the victim was told they had contracted the HIV virus.

Shirley’s bond was set at $25,003.
