Camp Chowenwaw pool open all summer
GREEN COVE SPRINGS – Now that summer is here, the best way to escape the heat is to stay submerged in cool water.
The swimming pool at Camp Chowenwaw is open daily. The fee is nominal: $3 for swimmers 16-64, $2 for swimmers 2-15, seniors 65 and older $2, and children 2 and younger are free.
In June, hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays. In July, hours expand on weekdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Camp Chowenwaw is at 1517 Ball Road.
