FLEMING ISLAND – Baptist Medical Center Clay passed another significant landmark on Dec. 20 when Waylon became the first child delivered in the maternity ward. Waylon weighed 7 pounds, 9.7 ounces, and both he and his mother, Savannah, were doing fine. Savannah, a first-time mother, read the Bible verse James 1:17 – “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change”—following his birth.
